Planning to spend part of all of the holiday season in our local area is a great choice. However, what’s a plan without an itinerary? If you want to make the most out of the holidays this year, here are our custom-made Littleton and Lincoln, New Hampshire must-go and must-dos!

Here We Go!

Find Breakfast

Near Littleton… Polly’s Pancake Parlor is delicious year-round, but during the holidays they have holiday-themed pancakes and hot cocoa! Stop in for their daily specials which usually include flavors like Gingerbread, Peppermint Bark, and Pumpkin. You will not be disappointed.

Address: 672 Route 117, Sugar Hill, New Hampshire

In Lincoln… Flapjack's Pancake House is another top four-season spot to start a yummy morning, but like Polly’s, during the holidays they also have holiday-themed pancakes and cocoa. We recommend ordering Gingerbread or Cinnamon Bun.

Address: 149 Main Street, Lincoln, New Hampshire

Enjoy the Afternoon

Near Littleton… Did you know that you can cut your own Christmas tree at The Rocks? They open for the holiday season on Saturday, November 18, 2023. You can cut your own or simply choose a fresh-cut tree, and there are also lovely wreaths to purchase. While you're there, make sure to visit the gift shop inside the program center and take a free horse-drawn wagon ride.

There’s even a special Christmas Memory Package you can book if you’d like to make The Rocks a larger part of your winter.

Website: 113 Glessner Road, Bethlehem, New Hampshire

In Lincoln… Nothing says “happy holidays” and “family bonding” like a collective adventure. There are many thrills to find at Alpine Adventures, but during winter you can get three tours into one by booking a Winter Skyrider Tour. What are you waiting for?

Address: 45 Main Street, Lincoln, New Hampshire

Stop for Lunch

In Littleton… A warm and tasty lunch is as simple as Jack and Fin's. Their grilled cheese flavors are original and satisfying. Some include Cheeseburger, Cuban, Bacon Apple, Fried Pickle, and Ham Jam. One of those with a soup will send you into the second half of your day strong.

Address: 42 Main Street, Littleton, New Hampshire

In Lincoln… In the mood for surf and turf? We suggest Gordi's Fish & Steak House. They've been a hit since their establishment in 1986!

Address: 260 Main Street, Lincoln, New Hampshire

Want some local beer with your lunch? Try One Love Brewery! Alongside their fabulous brews, consider trying some Brewmaster's Duck Tacos, Firecracker Nachos, or the Korean BBQ Pork Mac N Cheese.

Enjoy Some Shopping

In Littleton… Holiday shopping on Main Street in Littleton is an unparalleled delight. Everything you could hope to obtain is right there.

To name a few gift-forward locations, we recommend the Little Village Toy & Book Shop for the littles in your life, Bella Funk for creative women's clothing, just L Modern Antiques for your favorite mid-century lover, Lahout's Ski Shop for ski enthusiasts, The Little Herb Shoppe for natural herbals, the League of N.H. Craftsmen for art aficionados, Little Town Brews for a signature sixer or one-off can, the White Mountains Canning Co. for jams, jellies, and more, and finally, there's us, Chutters! Our shop is the place where you can find the finest and widest variety of candy far and near.

In Lincoln… There’s also a wonderful shopping scene in Lincoln. First of all, we have another candy-convenient location there, but there’s also The Christmas Loft for all things holiday, Three on the Tree Boutique for vintage/rustic/bohemian clothing, Encore Thrift and Coffee Shop for a gift that's twice as nice and budget-friendly, The Mountain Wanderer for adventure-seeking friends and family members, and Seven Birches Winery for a top bottle to pop under a tree or in a stocking.

Get a Warm Dinner

In Littleton… Cuisine choices are bountiful in our little town of Littleton. Some we love are the Littleton Freehouse Taproom & Eatery which has a view of the river, The Little Grille, which is a local staple, and The Beal House, which is just incredibly flavorful.

Near Lincoln… Just a few minutes down the road from Lincoln is the Woodstock Inn Brewery where during winter you can dine inside an outdoor igloo! That experience together with their phenomenal warm and gooey mac and cheese (made with pig's ear cheddar cheese sauce) and beer is an ideal combination.
